State Unit is at Haryana State Capital Chandigarh The Organization has efficient technical manpower which includes District Informatics Officer and District Informatics Associate at NIC, District Centre, Narnaul. At the NIC District Centre, Narnaul a large number of Application Softwares are implemented and developed which provide total Informatics Support to the Centre/State Govt. District Offices Like District Administration, Health Department, Roadways, Police department, Education, Food Supply, Public Relations Department, Sports, Statastic, Red Cross, Women and Child Development, Zila Sainik Board, PWD Public Health, Irrigation, Election Department and various Autonomous Societies viz. University & Colleges.

Apart from this, NIC, Narnaul has specialized into different areas of IT and facilitate the Application Software implementation developed by NIC HQ, HSU, and locally as well as in providing state-of-the-art services to the Government. http://www.mahendragarh.gov.in is the Official District Mahendragarh Portal developed with an aim to provide comprehensive, accurate, reliable and one stop source of information about District Mahendragrah and its various facets including its Administrative Setup, heritage, economy, news, online citizen services etc. Links at various places have been provided to other official Haryana Government Portals/websites.

The Portal was first launched in 2000 and has undergone revamps ever since in terms of design and content.
